Environmental Ownership

Creative Children and Creative Packs is proud to invest in our future, through education and through the environment. Check out our environmental plan below.

                                   Going Paperless by 2020

We see the great need to reduce our consumption of paper products and it's already part of our day to day practice at the Creative Children warehouse from reusing boxes in our shipments to using certified green recycled paper products (where you need to have paper, such as bathroom supplies). Our hope is that our schools will join us in going paperless and doing away with forms. When you join Creative Packs, all you need to do is link our site to your school's.

                                           Boxes or Bags?

Here at Creative Packs, we use recycled, non-corrugated cardboard boxes to pack your supplies. There are a few reasons for that, 1. non-corrugated cardboard is biodegradable and recyclable. 2. your supplies stay safe and neatly packaged as they travel to you. 3. reusable bags, are not recycled in Canada (check out this link for lots of facts on reusable bags http://www.allaboutbags.ca/reusablesgreenerrmyth.html)

We want to make sure that it's easy to use our product, but we also want our customers to have the best information when they make their choice for delivery. Being a local company we want to support other local and Canadian businesses. Honestly, the most environmentally friendly delivery practice is to deliver all the packs to the school (and we will happily coordinate this at the school's request) If this isn't an option, we coordinate home deliveries with Canada Post. We chose Canada Post for their Environmental Policy and Plan (https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/pages/aboutus/details.page?article=environmentalpolicy)  and of course, because they're Canadian!
